Daily

  1. Inspect visible sensors for damage and obstruction.
  2. Inspect error log.
  3. Backup log files.

 

Monthly

  1. Inspect local reading versus console readings.
  2. Backup configuration files.
  3. Inspect cable integrity and lose contacts.
  4. Inspect time synchronization.
  5. Review logical access and privileged user permissions.

 

Quarterly

  1. Inspect for available firmware/software updates and install where desired.
  2. Inspect and clean monitoring/control system and console.
  3. Inspect wiring monitoring/control system and console.
  4. Review set points.

 

Yearly

  1. Inspect sensors and calibrate (note: certain sensors like humidity sensors might require more frequent calibration).
  2. Inspect labels and signage.
